I have a box with dual 12" and there is still room for one person in the back. You can do a single in the center and still have room for two skinny people. You will most likely lose the under-seat storage though...

You bought an ex cab. There isnt any room for passangers anyway. Haha. Just kidding. Its tight back there. You want both? should have bought a 4 runner.

Possibly look into gettting a bazzooka style sub, or possibly 2 6" or 8" and mounting them in the door to the storage compartments.

yeah i saw a couple pictures of the under seat ones and it looks better for my fitting, just not really too sure how id go about on it. Id rather do the single in center because its easier. Do you like the 12's in there or would you rather go bigger?

in a small area like that, 10" is the biggest you should go for the best sound. beleve it or not a JL 8" sub will sing really well and still hit hard!

One rated for the same output as whatever sub you use. And dont skimp on the wiring. No good having power if you dont power it correctly.

I had a 12" sub in a slim box with a 760w amp...it would rattle the windows if I pulled up to someones house. Just don't skimp on wiring

here is the sub... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_s...p?series_id=27
here is a cheaper one that will still hit really well... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_s...p?series_id=28

This amp will just about over power the first sub... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=608

for the second sub, a small mono amp will work really well, like this one... http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=267-644
It will match up almost perfect.

and for a box... http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=8+sub+box

what that set-up will give you is sound quality not quanity. it will also give you the space you are looking for.
when you get your sub box, make sure you seal the joints and let them dry for a few days, if they are not sealed. Use calking.

Many companies design subs for tight air spaces I bought a 10" clarion made a cheap custom box and took minimal space from the passengers
