Ahoy ahoy
I don't go into 4wd much but got stuck in mud and had to for my beer run. Can't get the 4wd light to get turned of. Even sat there with engin off trying to get it out to no avail.

Ps. My truck is an 89 4runner with manual shifters

 

Likely to be driveline wrap-up. Gently rock the truck forward and backward in first/reverse, while pushing the T- case lever.

Not uncommon, and doesn't mean anything is wrong with your rig.

 

Couple back and forth moves and it popped out of 4wd.
