Stubborn fuel line fitting

Hey guys, in need of some help here. I’m trying to drop my fuel tank to clean it and replace the filter sock on the fuel pump and I can’t get the fuel line connection at the pump to break loose. I’ve tried almost everything I can think of. I’ve been soaking the fitting in PB blaster for 3 or 4 days now, hitting it with a mallet trying to break free some of the corrosion. I even tried to freeze one side of the fitting to make the gap between the fittings bigger and it just will NOT move. Anyone have experience dealing with this problem? Any suggestions?

Wow that is not even rusted bad like the ones I deal with .

You are turning the correct way ??

Sometimes using line wrenches tapping with a small hammer in both directions will break things loose.

In some cases I had to cut the line on the fuel pump bracket

Then once removed braze a new section of line back on

Large vice grips on one, large open-end wrench on the other. Both are almost in-parallel with each other, so they can be exerted on with Captain America power. That works for me. Prob has all the penetrant you need from all the soaking. Those heads do look good, I thought they'd be rounded or rust-welded.

Bigger fitting is turned clockwise to hold, while the smaller fitting is counter...and vice versa.

High quality metric tube wrenches will get it done.

Line wrench??, tube wrench?? I hope anybody who knows tools will understand. Maybe it's an East- West thing???

A search of Ebay shows that more sellers do call 'em line wrenches. I guess I'm a minority.

Thank you guys for the suggestions, I appreciate it! Unfortunately, in the process of trying to free the fitting the line on the fuel pump bracket started to fold shut. and the fitting is still frozen together. I ended up cutting the rubber flex line and dropped the tank last night. I think I'm going to try what Wyoming9 suggested and replace the line on the fuel pump bracket. I'm also thinking of converting the fittings to AN quick disconnects when I install a new section of flex line.
