Stripped Lower Manifold Threads

Stripped Lower Manifold Threads
One of the studs for the lower intake manifold stripped in the head of my 22RE. I tried using threadlocker red but it didn't hold up. Could JB weld work here or should I go with a heli coil or drill/tap to M10?

Personally, I'd go with the Heli-coil. Can you get to it ok with a drill? If you can't get it drilled straight it might fail.
JB Weld might work in a pinch as a temporary repair. If I "had to" go this route I would clean the heck out of the hole and the stud. Then coat the hole and the stud and put the stud through the MOUNTED manifold with a nut and washer on it just enough to keep it straight while it cured. Make sure you don't glue the manifold on with oozing JB Weld. Maybe put some plastic wrap or something over the stud between the head and manifold. Keep the excess wiped away as much as possible.
Good luck with it and please follow up. Dead end threads suck.
