Stress from wider track with wheel spacers?

Would a wider track from 1.25" bolt-on wheel spacers (Spidertrax) cause much extra stress on the steering rack or power steering or suspension? I would like a wider track for more stability if there is no downside. Thanks.

More stress, yes. Enough to worry about, no.

just remember the further out your tires are, the more possibility it's gonna hit the fenderwells, typically by the rocker panels when at full steering lock. Possibly even the top of the fender depending on tire size at full stuff. Especially on an IFS where the tire only really goes up and down and doesn't tilt the top of the tire as the axle articulates.
