steel brake line install

i got new steel brake lines for my rear brakes and they are already bent like the old ones but i am having trouble tightening the fittings in..how tight do they need to be? and do they need to be screwed in all the way? i remember them being pretty secure before

i bought them through the toyota dealership. i did buy some from napa that i was going to bend myself but they were way too long to get the shape i needed.
should they completely screw in? when you say to move the brake line, you mean the whole thing once it's in there?
thanks

As long as they don`t leak your good to go
If you got dirt in the fitting they will never seal correct .
The nut pushes the flare into the female part that is how flare fittings work.
