You need to start your own thread in the correct section, not reply to other peoples threads.

I moved your post to a new thread this time.

Mine was about 10% off, thru the whole speed range, came stock with 225/65 15s. (Tires) Now with 30x9.5s, its probably a wee bit further off, but I know its about 7-8mph fast on top of the percentage. I swapped clusters, and didn't pay attention to where the needle sat before swapping my odometer in. So it dummy proofs me. Now at 65, I think I'm hauling ass...but only just over the speed limit. Why you want to fix it? Use a GPS, figure out what actual vs. indicated speed is, and run with it! What size tires you wearing? What's the nom plate spec for tires?

I want to fix it because I dont like to go 80 on the speedometer but actually on 70 and rpms at
3k tires I have are 31×10.5×15 Hercules mt forgot to mention speedometer sits on the 4mph mark whether its running or not what can the problem be the gauge cluster or the speedo cable

Read through here : https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116/sr5-gauge-cluster-swap-how-pics-179106/ , see if you can work out how to adjust the needle. ONLY TURN IT COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. Otherwise, you'll trash the return spring, and it will be off. Which could be the issue already. Is your truck a DLX or SR5? And at 70, you're gonna turn about 3k rpm. It's normal. Ain't a Ford. 22RE? They're ok with revving a little bit.
