Spacer lift???

So I was wondering...

with a lift like these...
-http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/96024rundstrlift.htm (the 1.25in front and rear spacers)
-http://www.xtremeterrain.com/1996-2002toyota4runner4wdand2wd-25liftkit212liftfrontcoilspacers212rearcoilspacers .aspx

Do you need new shocks? or does it space out everything at once? Basically, I want to know if I buy one of these kits if thats all I will need to buy for the lift.

-Thanks in advance!

I believe this is what you were asking about

To tell you the truth you dont want one of those, dont cheap out on your suspension..
that will ride like ass

BUT, To answer your question, You would need new shocks for the rear, Unless your truck is a street queen..

This is the second one, And while it looks more "complete" its the same thing, It will add preload to your front suspension and will not ride good.

Save up and buy new coils and shocks..

well a spacer lift is not the best way to get lift, it is cheap.

and its not as bad as scoob is describing, i have a spacer lift on my 2000 and i think it still rides ok. though i dont really "wheel" my tacoma all that much. it also made it handle better in the corners (less body roll).

i considered lifting with spacers simply because i wanted to get rid of the sag and i dont wheel all that much. Instead i purchased some longer procomp coils. They pretty much %$#@ everything up except the look of the runner. It rides awful and makes a terrible sound at highway speeds when i let off the throttle. Im going to search this over but definately be mindful of how little changes affect your rig.

If you are going to do any wheeling, definitely go for the new coils.
