solid front axle bracket removal
Im not sure if this is the right place to post this so sorry in advance. So I got my solid axle the other day for my SAS but I just realized when I went to put my truss on the top that I had what looks to be steering stablizer mounts and im not sure what this other thing is. My question is can i just grind these off are they OEM or something that someone added on at one point because on all the pictures of SAS builds ive never seen this. thanks for all the input in advance!!!

those are OEM, the vertical one was for a track bar that attached to the frame,
the lower one was for the steering stablizer. cut them off and clean up the areas with a flapper wheel.
looks like an 81-83 short gusseted axle
