i have a broken left rear quarter glass and got a new one at a junk yard. What kind of sealant (that nasty black gook) do they use to install it? or can i use something else that is comparable? i saw some 3M urethane stuff at Autozone for windshields......is that ok? Thanks guys!

get a tube of the windsheild adhesive/sealant from napa or body shop supply house.

 

Yea that stuff from autozone is just fine for the task...wipe up any excess right away, tape it in place and avoid driving at highway speed for a day.

 

is it bolt in or just urethane?
