I am reading in my manual that some of the bolts on the oil and water pump require sealant. Does fipg work for that or should I use RTV, and if so, what color? Also, where on the bolts should this sealant be applied? Just near the head, or on the threads? I also noticed when pulling my oil pan that these bolts had RTV on the ends of them. I am going to reseal the pan with fipg, but do the bolts need to be treated with sealant as well? Thanks for the info.
