I recently bought a 96 Hilux which had been imported from Colombia. I very quickly needed to have the 22R overhauled and have gone with MSD ignition, LCE distributor, intake manifold and Weber 32/36. I have learned a lot over the past couple months but need some help from you guys.

my tailgate looks like it’s been repaired in the depths of a Colombian jungle and will likely need to be replaced. I see that there are replacements available for the 89-95 pickup but don’t know anyone with this truck for me to measure.

Can someone measure the width, height, thickness, and maybe the distance from their hinge location to the latches so that I can tell if this part will fit a 96 Hilux?
