Radiator Hose?

Does anyone know what the radiator hose that elbows over the alternator on an 1986 4runner is called? Auto-parts store is stumped and cannot seem to match it. anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure if it has a specific name, maybe just a part#. If they can't just eyeball it and match it up, bring it to another store, or a dealership. I'm sorry, but if a parts store is stumped over a freakin radiator hose, they are idiots. Stop shopping there.

If it is the 22rec there are two bottom hoses one goes from the radiator to the pipe the other goes from the pipe to water pump. It can be a pain to change the hose with the alternator in place.

Now some of the hoses are also used for different engines so you might have to cut to the length you need.

While you have the coolant drained it is easy to change all the hoses at the same time .
