Quick question on the intake silencer removal on the 3.0, the two lines coming off the hard pipes located on top of the timing cover that come from the passenger side of the engine, do these need to breathe or can they be capped off? Thanks.

 

They would need to breathe, one goes to the EGR and I cant recall where the thinner one goes to but they would both need to breathe.

 

The other is a idle up for the AC and power steering.
