Problem after installing BJ Spacers in 88 runner*

I just installed my ball joint spacers and while I had it taken apart I added the sway bar and diff drop as well as new tie rods, ball joints, pitman and idler arms* install went good (a little difficult by myself) but when I got it all back together the driver side inner tie rod rubs on the frame* what gives? Haven't seen anyone else on here with this problem so I'm just seeing if anyone has any ideas? Thanks*

Pictures would help! i know I should talk!!!

Has this truck ever been hit enough to twist the frame??

Just what rubs? What part of the inner tie rod??:jessica:

I will try to get some pics on here* the back of the tie rod end rubs on the frame( opposite side where it connects to the center link) but only on the driver side, it may have a slightly bent frame cause 1 week after I got it someone pulled out in front of me and I hit em goin about 30mph* the passenger side took more of the damage but u never know, only thing is that the original tierods did not rub, and I don't see a lot of difference between the old and new tie rods* so I was guessing its because of the spacers...

I just went and looked at my Runner, and yours appears to have a larger bend in it. Mine is all OE, and the only bend is close the threaded end and its pretty sharp, not largely radiused like in your pic.

Yes that tie rod has more bend then the stock one ! wrong tie rod in the correct box??

Is the right side one bent as well??

That was a new out of the box one??

Did you have a alignment done Yet ?? Maybe they can straighten for you .

I don't think its because of your spacers. More cheap "quality fit" china garbage.

Yes the right looks the same, the package says OE on it in blue writing* and if I could drive it I would try to get it aligned but I can't make left turns due to the rubbing.... Maybe I will try to put the old one back on and see if that fixes my problem. Thanks to all for the input*

Why do you keep putting stars everywhere? (these *?)

What brand parts did you buy?

Lol* sorry about those it's just a habit... Looks better than a period? I don't know* as far as the brand, the packaging says OE, I ordered them online and I've heard guys don't like the moog so I stayed away from them but this brand claimed to be direct OME replacements. (There no stars, lol!)

Oh and just to clarify it not the bend that rubs its the actual tie rod end where it mounts to the center link.

Usually when they say oe replacements, they are not.
Sankei 555 or OEM toyota are the way to go. I bought some cheapie mevotechs and the taper was way off, it looks like yours are as well, they aren't close enough to the center link. Are they tight enough?

I cranked everything down and it seemed to help, I can actually drive it around with only minimal rubbing, I think I will see if the alignment will help now. Thanks again for the help
