so i put a reman v6 3.0 motor in this truck everything is good except for the power steering squeaks like hell! (i changed all the belts and it didnt squeak but after one time of driving it it started squeaking again) i went a bought a new pump...didnt fix it. got a new belt shorter than before..didnt fix it..when i first start it it will squeak then it will go away but then as soon as i turn i dont have power steering and it will squeak really bad!!!!! please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh im 18 and have no idea what im doing lol

 

Sounds like you simply don't have the belt (via the adjusting bolt) tight enough.
Have someone turn the steering wheel (with the truck in park or neutral) while you watch under the hood and see if the belt is slipping.

Let's see, you're "only" 17 and have no udea what you're doing yet you put swapped engines ??
