i have a body lift on mine and hate the gap thats between the body and the rear bumper now so i want a rear bumper to fill that... and front looks good for now ill decide on that one later

it took around 3 days or so,(including gathering of the materials) its the first rear bumper that i have built so im sure i could do it faster.
yes, i drive it to and from the trail so it has to be somewhat legal
i actually welded a license plate bracket to a hitch, and then just slid it into my receiver. (can add the light also)
well mine is not for looks! although i will admit it "looks" good 
regardless which one you do first, having one crappy stock bumper, and one custom bumper, is better than having both crappy stock bumpers.

So, I got to ask... nearly everyone has posted front bumpers, and only one rear, is it just for looks?
The approach angle on our trucks is good, the departure angle isn't. Logic would dictate that the rear bumper should come before the front, unless a) you have a winch, b) its for looks.
