Might not be a bad idea to Rhino line the lower areas, below the doors, fenders etc up to the body lines. Rhino liner is tough and will take a beating but I don't know if you can stripe it. As far as body protection goes a good set of bumpers and sliders (Wabbit) will go a long way towards saving the sheet metal.

edit: If you plan to wheel it stay away from alloy or aluminum wheels. Go with steel so you can beat them back into shape with a hammer when you blow a bead. Alloys and aluminum break, steal just bends a bit.

are the lower armor tubes going to be green, or is that just so you can see it ontop of the zebras for design purposes?

looks good to me, but i say just zebra stripe the whole truck.
and make all the tubeing the same color top and bottom.

To each his own. You should use a flame proof clear coat for the pain, cuz your going to need it!

nah the armor tubes are goin to be black i just made them gree so you could see them but i dont wanna zebra the whole truck because i like havin just the lower part a diff color and im tired of just seein trucks rhyno lined from the body line down... and i dont see why everyone is disliking the zebra strips i mean in my opinion they look alot better than the factory sr5 ones but different people have different taste

Oh. My bad. I've heard the same thing about the Rhino lining but then I've never known anyone that wanted to remove it later.

Good call on the wheels. Be sure and use some type of sanding compound or paper to scuff the chrome so the paint will stick.

You could always scuff the original paint where you want the stripes and pick up some rattle cans and make your own stripes.
