Which OME Rear Shocks for '84?

Guess I'll start here - I've searched but get lots and lots of threads about OME springs but none with the specific info I'm after...

I want to order OME springs and shocks for my '84 pickup. On page 101 of the ARB catalog that you get from their website they list rear shocks as follows:

POST '84 N85/N94

and

PRE '84 N89/N95

Hmmm.... Post means "after" and "pre" means before, so since I have an '84, which do I go with?

The footnotes in the catalog indicate there's a difference in the bolt eye and open and closed lengths. The earlier model has a 16mm eye and shorter open & closed lengths, the later uses a 19mm eye.

Thanks for any help!

Just in case anyone else ever needs this info - Got an e-mail from ARB tech support stating that the '84 and '85 are the same, so use the Post '84 application.

glad you got your answer. ARB's tech support has been helpful to me on my questions in the past too & their responses have been quicker than most suspension companies
