oil seal question

I have 2nd generation '92 Toyota 4WD and I am replacing rotors, ball joints, and brake pads. I have the new rotor on the hub, and I am having trouble with the oil seal. It sticks up proud by about 1/32". It won't go down anymore. Any ideas.

Probably the wrong seal, or a improperly manufactured seal. Get a new one.

oil seal

Thanks Adam! I found that the oil seal was within tolerance so I almost got that one side done. I am lucky my boss is letting me use his shop and tools. It has been cold out lately, sure would hate to be doing this outside.
