oil leaks

Hey guys im new here, i have a few question regarding oil leaks.
I took my 1988 toyota pickup 22r to get an oil change and prior to going i knew i had 3 oil leaks. So i told them to give me an estimate.

They want:
399.00 for an oil pan gasket
595.00 for rear main seal gasket
575.00 for timing chain cover
209.00 for valve cover gasket
Comin to a total of around 1800

This is parts and labor but the price seems way to high considering i had a clutch done for 50 bucks. I also know the parts itself are really not that expensive most of the cost is in labor.

Any help/knowledge is appreciated thanks for your time and help.

I would say each of those estimates is pretty high. You can most likely walk yourself through the valve cover gasket job and the parts will be between $15 and $20 depending on which brand you choose. The rear main is a somewhat of a bear simply because you need to pull the transmission to get to it...the others aren't fun either. In summation, i would attempt the vcg on your own, shop around for a better deal and/or see if you have a pal who would be willing to help you out. Good luck
