went to the dealer to get my new cps o ring but they did not even show it (didnt show the camshaft sensor o ring either). the manual i download of the toyota site says always replace the cps o ring Hmmmmm. anybody got a part number or a source for the o rings? posted a pic of my current build. picked this truck up with a blown head gasket, but water in the oil pitted one of the cylinders so we rebuilt the engine.

 

I take it you don`t have your own O-ring assortment for times like this.

If I had a sensor I would be able to tell you what size O ring

If you have a good hardware store or local autoparts not the big new chains they should have the size you need.

take your sensor along.

You could measure it and order it online

Toyota is funny with things like this they are included with new parts but no listing to be sold separate. The same with the clips that hold some of the electrical plugs

 

the crankshaft o-ring is not a normal o ring. will take a pic tonight and post. it has a flat inner flange.

 

take a look at the first pic. the second is the camshaft sensor i think i can get one to fit it. i dont think the crankshaft o ring has been flattened it looks like it was that made that way. what do you think or know.
