Noob researching toyota drivelines

Hello,
I'm building a custom light duty off road rig.
A toyota frame and driveline seems to be the best option for what I want to do.
I already have an engine that will be around 200hp
My questions are what are are the best toyota years and drivelines that are 5 speed in a short box 4x4 configuration?
like what should I be looking for or is there any 5 speeds, front or rear diffs or transfer cases I should be looking for or avoiding?
I want the most dependable set up possible without going crazy with aftermarket mods.
Its not going to be a crawler or anything extreme.
I just want the most reliable stock toyota driveline possible that can be driven cross country for camping and a hobo handyman lifestyle.
Pretty new to toyota stuff and not sure what the best options are when I come across stuff.

Why Toyota?? Is this adventure planned for the lower 48 states or third world countries ?

Are you doing all the fabrication and building yourself? The more you go Custom you have longer down time if things need fixed waiting for parts.

Just what engine are you using ?? Might help to narrow down your drive train options unless your planning on building a Custom Bell housing .

Do you want a solid front axle or independent front axle??

How much in the way of Tools and Camping gear do you plan to tote along the weight adds up fast. Depending on your overall weight buy a new Tacoma or Tundra that way if things break of natural causes you under warranty. The most dependable is always under warranty

Would you start with all new or refurbished drive train??

Mechanical things break it is a law of the Universe

my self with a change of all fluids and tune up I would take either my 2000 Tacoma with 250,000 miles or my 92 4 runner with 185,000 miles a roam around the Northern parts of the Country till I got bored.
