Newbie looking for part help

Hi everyone. My gf has a 93 sr5. She went to open the pass side door from the outside yesterday, she lifted the handle and 'pop', the little plastic clip that connects and keeps the end of the linkage locked in the eye on the back side of the outer door handle mechanism broke into several pieces. Plastic doesnt last long here in the desert... Where can I get a replacement? Would my local parts store have em, do I need to contact a Toy dealer, or ....? Also, can anyone tell me what the correct name for that part is? Thanks in advance! -VK

the parts store really ought to carry those nearly every car uses them, just in different diameters

You can get the P/N from a dealer, or a website such as toyotapartszone.com, and see if you can get it a little cheaper than the dealer.

I would suggest junkyard'n

Went to the site you suggested, an excellent site thank you. I am still a bit confused about what the actual name of the part is, as several of the parts listed could possibly be what I need. Is there a site where I could see an exploded view of the inner door complete with part names?

As for junkyard'n, I totally agree, I love em. But the only good truck yard we had here in town(S.Nev) closed up a few months ago and pickins are slim at the remaining few.

Again thanks for the help and info! -VK
