Newbie clutch question

In the final stages of rebuild on 87 4runner 22re. Bought Marlin clutch and new clutch plate. Flywheel has been turned. My paint marks on my flywheel were washed off during the milling. Can see no factory stamped on flywheel. How important is it to get the flywheel correctly indexed on the crank? Also, there are no marks on the new clutch plate, FSM says to line up the marks on the clutch plate and flywheel. How important is it to get the clutch plate indexed on the flywheel. These questions are mute at this point since I installed all best guess, and mated engine and tranny last evening. Just trying to check if anyone feels that I am in for trouble? Thanks for any input.

I used the guess method once as well. I never noticed a problem. Thats not to say there isn't one, but i didn't observe any issues with it. Hopefully, you're fine.
