new yota owner few questions

just picked up my first toyota. its an 87 22r 5 speed lifted around 6-7"s with 33's. gonna take some getting used to going from 4 liter jeeps to this. has horrible acceleration with the 33's. anyone know what the stock gears would be on this?and how hard would running 32's-33's be on the motor and drivetrain etc. the tires on it are bald so i'm gonna put my pretty much new 32" bfg mtr's on it. buddy gave me an adapter to put a 4 barrel carb on it.would this increase the power at all? and what 4 barrel carb would i look for and would this just bolt right on with the adapter? anything else you can tell me about the 87 pickups would be great.

Pretty sure the gears are 4:11. Not good for 33's. You can search for info on your truck. Pretty much the same for all 4 cylinders between '84-...maybe 95? Pirate4x4 has a great FAQ on Toyota pickups.

the only carb upgrade i know of is a weber on our trucks, its gonna have to be a super small 4 barrel to work and even then i dont really think your gonna get much out of it.
