Hey guys/gals. I'm getting ready to purchase a 4runner for my wife and eventually it will become my next wheeling rig. I've had a Jeep for 14 years. I bought it new and took it through 3 stages of build up with the last build to be sitting on 42" swampers and one tons. Here's a pic of the old girl.



I sold it this spring and bought her a boat. Now she's is wanting a 4runner(eventually will be mine.....muuahhahahaha) and I was just wanting some newbie Toyota info.

What is the factory gear ration for a 3.4/auto with e-locker?

what gear ratio will the factory e-locker go to if the axle is re-geared? i.e. How low can I go with factory e-locker?

What are my options on doing a front SAS? (donors etc..) I've seen several ways to go...Which is the best? FJ60? D44? (Reading the SAS area now.)
