i dont understand what your asking in the first pic? the exhuast? The piping looks a bit to small if its aftermarket. Whats the Model? Motor type?

and i couldnt tell you for sure in the second pic, but my guess would be no.

Anyways, welcome to the forums, and congrats on the new yota!

the residue could be due to the size of the piping, it looks smaller than stock to me, is it aftermarket?

I had the same problem when i swapped an H22a into my accord, i left the stock exhaust on for a bit and the backpressure turned the back of my car into a sooty mess.

Post up info on your vehicle, what type of Toyota? What year? What engine?

I know my exhaust's don't spit crap out all over the paint and flaps.
