New here guys. own a 95 4runner

Hey ever one I'm new to this stuff.I been doing my research on my 1995 4runner 2wd
I'm thinking about staring to change to some kind of air intake. Any suggestions along with wanting to change the shocks struts.

Thanks for the help.

Welcome from Alabama.
I wouldn't bother with a air intake for a 4runner. As for shocks they are pretty straight forward to replace

For off roading in a 2wd I would look at a locker for the rear and maybe check out some of the kits from total chaos. The are a few bucks but if your looking to build it up a little they get good reviews. Also we have a 2wd/Per-runner section you may have already seen to check out what other guys do.

Welcome hope this helps.

A locker is a device that causes both tires to spin at the same time. Instead of what you have now which is a 1wd or one tire drives at a time. This is the same as a stock 4wd with out being engaged in 4wd. Then a 4wd becomes a true 2wd. One tire up front and one in the rear. If you search on here search for lunchbox locker or Detroit locker or lockrite locker. The difference between a open(stock) rear axle and a locked up rear axle. Is almost as dramatic as the difference between 2wd and 4wd. Hope this helps
