Need Shock info

I have an 81 with i want to say a 4 in lift. I have one shock that appears to be sagging. I am curious what shocks yall recomend. I do dd the truck but it is also a crawler, so i would like to also get good flex. I have been searching on here about shock lenghts and shock towers, but i am kinda lost with that. Do i need to weld shock hoops on my frame front and rear or is this just in the front? What do the shock hoops allow? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to YotaTech!!

I moved your thread to the newbie tech section.

The topic of "what shocks do you recommend" has been beat to death on here...

I would recommend doing a quick Search for "shocks" and narrow it down to your year-model section.

Another thing to keep in mind is that everybody has their own opinion on shocks - types, brands, uses, etc...
Doing your own research allows you to form your own opinion for what you need which is by far the most important thing to do.

I'm a HUGE OME fan...just throwing that out there.
