need help with an idle issuePleas!!!!

Okay my 91 toyota pickup seems to idle too fast. I took the throttle body apart yesterday and cleaned it real good cause it was thick with black smut, by the way why is this thing ruuning this lean? anyway got it all cleaned up put back together and started it up sounds good other than a little fast the idle screw is turned as far as it will go on the throttle body. I set the timing prior to doing this little cleaning project do you think it needs to be reset any suggestions sure would be appreciated. And one more thing the check valve that goes between the intake and power brake booster if I disconnect it from the booster should I be able to blow thru it? Thanksa everyone!

What are the particulars, motor, auto, manual trans 2wd, 4wd.
Try taking out the idle air screw and replace o-ring and then see if you can adjust idle.
How did you determine its running lean, is there a code stored?

Sorry its a 91 toyota pickup 2wd, 22re engine. It shows a couple codes I think they are 21 and 34 as far as the lean issue when i removed the throttle body to clean it It had a real thick layer of black carbon like sludge and it smells like rich gas. Now I will say this when I first got it from the guy I bought it from the air filter was completely stopped up with dirt and grass must have never changed it. So i assume the running rich for so long might be partially due to this. Anyway I have cleaned and replaced the filter, plugs, wires, ndist cap rotor, cleaned the throttle body, set the timing. I might need to reset the timing after this not for sure but anyway thats what I got so far.by the way its a five speed.
