Hello,
I have a 1986 4x4 with 2lt diesel and a bad tranny. Can I take one of the many manual trans out of 4 banger gas truck and swap it in? Will I need to swap bell housings? Thanks in advance for your advice

 

whats the numbers for the trans u have? if u look for the plate it should give u an idea what trans u have, then u might be able to look and see if any trans will fit.
