Hi, can someone give me a recommendation for a mechanic that doesn't mind working on older model pickups? I have an 88 Toyota pickup in great shape but there are a few nagging issues that I would like fixed (the door hinges are worn and cause the doors to slam, the steering wheel creaks, stuff like that). My mechanic grumbles every time I take it in for one of these issues and I want to go to someone that has experience and just doesn't want to work on the newest cars. Can someone give me a recommendation for a mechanic in Los Angeles, preferably in the San Fernando Valley, that would take good care of my truck and will help me try to find parts and won't say that I just need to "live with it." Thanks for any advice and if I just need to live with it, please tell me that too. Thanks!
