lower ball joints 3rd gen

lower ball joints 3rd gen
replaced my lower ball joints with "555"'s from the local O'Rielly's. Came in a moog box
My problem is that they are extremely stiff. I turn the sterring wheel and it wants to stay in that posistion instead of returning to center!!
Possibly no lube? The units do have a screw on the side. Is this for a Zerke? Maybe I should install one and try lubing it?
Thoughts?

The stiffness is lessening but for instance if I'm going 20-30mph, and going straight, I can turn the wheel about 10 degrees and it will return to center slowly. I replaced them for I've read about other 3rd gens ball joints going out while driving. I also get this on the highway, feels like the wind is blowing me and I constantly have to correct. I guess the next thing I will install are the steering rack bushings.

usually they will have a screw where a zerc should go, but did the package come with zercs? otherwise.. its prolly not a zerc hole.
