Locker will not lock
Hey I'm new to this Forum, I have 1994 toyota pickup 4x4 that has fuel injected R22. I found that the locking hub on the left front tire will not lock when i turn it from free to lock. Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem.
Thanks Toyota 94

You probably mean the locking hubs as lockers are generally in the differentials to keep the tires spinning at the same speed for traction.
Do a little search. Lots of threads on cleaning and rebuilding hubs. Might just be dirty or it might be the PO tried to rebuild it and either failed or lost a part. The later is what happened on mine. The PO tried to rebuild it and lost the pawl spring. I first took mine apart to see what was wrong. When i couldn't find the part i needed, I found a used pair on CL and took them apart cleaned and greased them up. Now it fine. I think I paid around $75 for my used pair. If you go that route make sure you get the right ones for your truck. There is a difference between a ifs front end and a solid axel front end
Once again a quick search will give you all the tips and tricks you need. There are some small parts you don't want to loose. Good luck and let us know what you find. Also if you take pictures after you take them apart it might help us identify the missing/broken parts.
