lift and tires

I just bought a 86 toy 4 runner! It has a 3-4 inch lift on it! I was wondering how big of tires I could run on it! Any ideas?

Probably 33's without issues. I am running 35's right now without any lift it needs a Body-Lift badly. I have done some hammering and trimming they fit barely...

ya you could do 33s without really cutting. Get a body lift and get 35s.

when i get some plentiful money..on my 86' PU.im going to go with 1.5" BJ spacers in the front..a SLIGHT T-bar crank..a 2in BL and then 2" lift springs in the rear..and i'll run 33x13.50 Super swamper LTB's for the mud...then probably some 32" street treads for the gas mileage...im also getting 4.88 gears..i can fit 35's stock too..on my 80' toyota in fact i've fit 36x13.50 IROKS on it before..but just for a few mins..just to see how bad the power loss was...and yes..it was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!..but it did fit them no problem..
