Leaf Spring Top Plate/Pad (?)

I'm finally wrapping up an Old Man Emu leaf spring install on my 94 Pickup, and was wondering if anyone has bothered to reuse the plate from the stock leaf pack that fits between the top leaf and the middle section of the U bolt. Mine were rusted in half (as I'm sure many others are) and I've never seen one offered for an OME application. It looks like the U bolts would have a tighter fit if one was to be added. Any thoughts on this?

Are you talking about the bump stops?

Thanks for the input. It very well may have been what was left of the bumpstops; there just hasn't been any rubber on there since I purchased the truck. My main concern was that my new OME U bolts have a slight arch to them in the top section, whereas the original ones were perfectly square. However I've since cranked everything down and it seems like a snug fit.
