Larger tires...

Hello,

I have an '84 Xcab...I think it may have a lift on it...I would like to get some new tires...I am thinking about 31's or 33's...I don't have much knowledge about this sort of stuff. If I went with the 33's what would be the issues? 31's might be more practical, this is my daily driver. I can get some pictures to for more info...sorry if this doesn't make any sense.

Z

31s would be more practical so you dont have to regear

I would go with 31's if I were driving it daily. What size are on the truck now?

I had 33's on a 89 xtracab 22re with stock gears. It was a 5 speed and it wasnt too bad. You def get used to it but this is in Miami,Fl where everything is flat. So im sure theres mountains and steep hills where your at. But the 33's felt great for me because they looked, sounded, and felt great under my truck

Under a grand if possible...way under..I have just done some internet shopping and found out that tires are spendy. I have delt with tires before...mostly on hot rods and VW's so they are small and cheap! Where in MT you at?

I would get Goodyear MTRs. They are quite and handle great on the street and they are great off road.
