i have a 1987 22re and i broke the knock sensor and they want any wheres from 183.00 to 500.00 for one where as the 89 up i can get for 35.00. now my question is what is the differance in the 87 from the 89 up can i use the newer one? theres a thread on here some where that says you can use a chevy knock sensor with an adapter.
