Knock Knock, where is it coming from?

I have a few questions. First I have 2002 Land Cruiser, when it is cold and are starting to drive a knocking sound starts. I had it checked you by the dealership and a few dollars later we have new a new rod bearing. They thought that was the problem but guess what it is back. Has anyone heard of this and where is it coming from? My second question is, can i out a leveling kit on the Land Cruiser and do you think it looks good? Thanks for your help!

Hi Calvin,
Some more details might help. You mentioned "when it is cold and starting to drive" the knocking sound starts. Does this mean you don't ever hear it in park / neutral? A rod bearing could be heard no matter if the vehicle was driving or not. How cold is "cold"? Do you mean the engine oil isn't up to temp or it is -20F outside? I'm guessing based on your location it is just engine temp.

On the leveling kit, do you mean with air suspension like the Eddie Bauer Expeditions such that it will raise the back when you load it down? This would be quite involved.
