Just saying hello

hi everyone.

I joined up a few weeks ago. I recently purchased a 1988 pickup 4x4 extended cab 5 speed SR5 with a 22RE. I picked it up off CL for a decent price of 1200 but it needed some love.

Quick question is there a difference in the 1988 steering components like tie rod ends and cross bar compared to the 1989-1995?
I will post more later.

Thanks Austin.

Don't know if there is a difference of hand. You can use rockauto.com and compare part numbers.

They are different, you need to stay 86-88.

Looks like it is only the inner tie rod that is different. The out is the same, collar and also the center link is the same.
