i have a parts truck with a good engine.. best way to store it??

i have a parts truck with a good engine.. best way to store it??

i have a parts truck that was my DD till i got a good deal on a new runner... i want to keeep the engine and tranny incase i need them..should i drain?? should i disassemnle fully?? can i leave it in the truck? i would also like to take off the front end parts i can use on my new truck when i get it a lifted then paint them all nice ... so what stock parts do you keep on a ifs if you want a few inches of lift with spacers and new shocks???? are the a arms and stuff going to be alright?? ball joints??

Since everyone else is quiet, I'll go ahead and voice my opinion. You will probably not need any of these parts in the near future. If I didn't want to keep it driveable (as an extra DD), I would sell it and rat hole the money for later. In other words- Store your spare parts in your savings account! If you do decide to junk it- Put a heavy dose of Stabil in the fuel, fog the engine, sit the truck on blocks, then weed eat around it for the next 10 years.

Just my opinion though-
