Click their name above their picture, the second option says "Send a private message to ____"

The easiest way to send a PM is to go to a member's page, and click the link that says "send Private Message". You can go to my page and try if you want to, just click on my screen name and it will show up.

the best way to find all of the threads you have subscribed to is to click on the link at the top of the page that says "user CP" (short for control panel) and from there click on subscribed threads, then show all threads.
Hope this helps. There's a set of directions somewhere on the forums that tells you pretty much everything you need to know. Try using the search function to find that, and it will help. Not sure what the exact title of the page is, but I know it's there.
