Unhappy How much FIPG is too much?

It wasn’t until I was tightening down the bolts on my transmission pan until I realized I may have used too much FIPG. I let it sit overnight and this morning ran out and got an endoscope. When I popped it in there I could see a solid amount of FIPG oozing out.

I’m assuming I’m gonna have to drop the pan again and redo the job, but I wanted some second opinions before doing so.

It should say something about it in the FSM I thought. I cut my tips around 3-5mm, 1/4", covers about 1/2-3/4 about one mm thick..

What you have squeezed out inside loooks to be about right maybe abit more

Thanks for the reply. I ended up showing my bartender who is a trained mechanic and he also thought it’d be fine. I’m gonna run with it as is.
