High RPMs

Hello All, any words of wisdom would be great. My 95 V6 3.0 4X4 SR5 Manual transmission Toyota 4Runner is running high rpms & therefore I have really crappy fuel mileage. I am in Canada so all my info is in metric. Let me know if I shoud convert it. When I am doing 120km/hr, my RPMs read 3500!! Is this normal? I have never owned a Toyota b4 so this is all new to me.

thats about right on with my old 4runner.

Get some bigger tires and your cruising RPM's will go down

you will lose some getup and go power but your highway mileage should be a little better.

Yep thats about normal, don't worry these engines are okay to keep in the 4k range for long periods.
