high mileage tundra
hey everyone, Im looking to buy a tundra in the near future. I would like a 2007 or newer, but a lot of them have high miles…I've seen between 110,000 and 135,000. How is the reliability of the 5.7 V8? I have a 2004 and 1988 4runner, so I'm not new to these, just never dealt with any of the V8 models or the tundra. Thanks for your help!

Not many people on here have 2nd gen Tundras. '07s had some cam breakage issues, but that was fixed through a recall and in the later years. If the 3uz is anything like the 2UZ, it will be one hell of a reliable V8. Over 100K miles, like any vehicle, it will probably have some chassis wear and possible interior wear. There will be some parts needing repaired sooner than later.
For more info and reviews, you should go to tundrasolutions.com under the 2nd gen Tundra section.
