Help! Quick!

I bought some new vacuum lines cuz of suspicion of leaks in all of my old ones. But, the line that I bought is biggger(I shoulda checked before I drove away, I know) It still is a little bit of friction, but not much. does it have to fit tightly? will the vacuum hold it on there? does it shrink? help, I've got a non functional truck in a buddies driveway right now! RTV silicone?

You can try to zip-tie the hoses on the nipples untill you can replace them.

normally they cut the lines for you 1/2 pr 3/8 for fuel so they wont return it but just keep it cause you will use it sometime!

problem solved, apparently it's heat shrink stuff. oookkkaaaayyyyy..... we'll see, it's only 50 cent/foot so it's not a big investment. thanks for the warning against rtv, it was my next step.

I had the same problem with brake lines today (nobody being open). They should have one 24/7 auto part stores in every 30 mile square.
