i recently bought an 89 pickup and it came with a Smittbuilt front and rear tube bumper... ive heard they arent really good for anything.

so should i sell em and get stock chrome bumpers??(i dont really like how they look anyway) and how much do these things go for if i were to sell them?

i probably could have found the prices of em somwhere on here but id like your opinions.

Smittybuilts are a touch stronger than stock bumpers, so really all it comes down to is personal preference. If you prefer one look over the other, go for it. Hell who knows, maybe someone will trade you for your smittybuilts.

 

yeah i like the plain old clean stock look since i dont do alot of rough offroading. anyone in the Tri-State area interested???

 

Smittybilts tend to rust out pretty bad... I would keep them if they are in good shape, and you like the way it looks.

If not, you could always upgrade to some real strong tube bumpers online

 

Just Stick'em on craigslist for $150 or so and see if somebody wants them. There's always someone looking for smittybuilts since I don't think they make them anymore.
