future lift thoughts

i am thinking of a 1 1/2-2" BL with 2" shackles and 1 1/2" BJ spacers. Then later on maybe small suspension lift. Im thinking it will be a pretty capable rig with 31"'s. I want to find out if other people are running this set up or something close to it and how well it does on trail as well as street, and, if you got em, pics. thanks

you wont need the body lift for 31" tires. for the shackle, go with 5" eye to eye. and the ball joint spacer will be a great addition too, but make sure all your steering parts are in check. with that set up you will clear 31" tire with ease.. oh, and before you decide to spend money on a "lift", get a rear locker. a locker will make more of a difference then all the lift and tires you are talking about.. honestly, you don't need any lift to fit 31" tires. just get the tires and locker.. save the rest of the money for beer..

i already have the rear locked and 31's on now. Once i get the lift i am hoping to get either 32's or 33's then i will be pretty much set

no body lift but you get the idea. 2 inch toytec "lift"

with 32-9.5-15 super swamper tsls

with 33-9.5-15's

the bj spacers and locker are very impressive imo for one of the best semi stock set ups you can have hope this helps, that amount of body lift will be hardly noticeable but i think you can imagine it on there

im running bj spacers, small t-bar crank, and 3" body lift and could easily run 35's. even with just the bj spacers ans crank i could have ran 33's so the 31's might look small.

Talking Toytec lifts

If your wanting to enjoy it off road, body lift's don't really help you out except to put larger tires on, which is good. But you can also put larger tires with suspension lift so with the suspension lift, you win both ways.

except toytec lifts only give you a littel more travel technically they dont lift the truck the suspension still will bottom out in the same place aka if you run 33's stock and they rub and think the toytec lift will help it will on the road but when your off at full stuff the tires are right back where they used to be.
