I have two issues going on with my 91 4runner.
First when I let of the accelerator there is a strong smell of fuel, not straight fuel but almost like partially burnt fuel. I know it sounds strange but that's the best way I can describe it.
Second is it hasn't been wanting to start on the first turn over, I turn the key to the on position to let the fuel pump run but it doesn't help. It usually starts on the second try, but its becoming annoying and a little embarrassing.

 

Also its a 3.0 with auto trans. Just in case you were wondering.
